In reply to: delle 's message, "and this is why I try not to post until the story is done or nearly done, because of course I *didn't* get to work on it, due to nervousness before leaving and general family life. It *is* being worked on - people at Con can defend me here, because I brought my working draft - and I will finish it as soon as possible. Thank you all for your comments (both positive AND negative) and continued patience." on 08:44:05 05/29/01 Tue

Wasn't that story about Nikita and Madaline posing as mother daughter on some retreat yours? Did you ever finish it?

I'm not all that much of a TR, but I really liked Madaline in the first year and felt that (as was Nikita) her character and the relationship between Madaline and Nikita was very badly served by a primarily male writing and directing team. Not that men can't write strong, intellegent, able women (stress on the women together thing, they always seem to think it has to end in a catfight -- way too much influence of the horrid horrid horrid Snow White story....), but, well, most don't.

So, anyway, I was very interested in a story that focused on the relationship between the two women. -- really interested in this one too, of course!

Normally I recognize the stories being asked for but can't remember what they are. This one I actually remember. It was "I Remember Madeline" by Joy and it wasn't finished. (NT)susanrh00:32:43 06/02/01 Sat
