I've been so wrapped up in real life with work and significant others that I let the LFN Committee and all of you down.

I didn't read the email announcements from Acmecity that they would closing down all sites and webpages unless you upgraded to AOL Hometown until it was too late.

Therefore all the stories that were archived at the LFN Alternative Archives were lost. I had finished up the format for the new archives, but I hadn't pulled the stories over yet. Sigh. I am sooo sorry to all of the authors that had their work at the archives. Please accept my sincerest appologies.

bites lip.. okay you all.. you can start yelling and beaming me with rotten food now.

On a personal note... I'm putting a call out for copies of my own work. I lost the only copies I have of my stories (finished and unfinished) when that site went down.

Not only did the archive's go away, but I had a personal poetry site with all my poems that spanned work I've done over 15 years that was lost. I know I know, I should have had a hardcopy or at least second soft copy somewhere. However my system took a dump last year, and I lost it all. I never took the time to back it all up again.

Please please use this as a lesson, SAVE YOUR WORK.

Sigh

Off to tear up and drink a lot of wine...
