Dear Reader,
A friend pointed out something to me which I feel that I need to clarify. First of all, I would like to thank all of you for your kindness and patience with such a newbie as myself. :-) You’ll never know how much your words of encouragement have meant to me.
I feel that I need to explain that "Out of the Darkness" (Parts 1-5) "Deception" and "The Thread That Binds" are all part of the same story. Maybe I should have written "Deception" and "Thread" as parts of "Darkness" instead of giving these parts separate titles. The reason I did them like this was that I needed a break. *nudge, nudge* *wink*
When I wrote "Darkness" I ended each part as more or less a cliffhanger. Then, when my readers demanded the next part (which was good, I’m not complaining) I would write non-stop until I could give it to them. After five parts I was exhausted. But all of the loose ends were still not tied up. (If you read "Darkness" you know that Chester had information that he couldn’t possibly have had access to unless . . .) So, more had to be written. This lead to "Deception" (the bridge) and "Thread"(the ending) (at least, for now) LOL. I hope that this helps. :-)
I wanted you to know (1) that I fully intend to tie up all loose ends and (2) that I’m not trying to flood the board with new stories. ("Vacation" is not part of this group and will probably never be part of any group. It was just for your enjoyment!) :-) *wg*
I, also, should have divided "Deception" into parts for easier reading. Sorry. :-( I hope this doesn't keep you from reading the story. *w*
