You walk slowly, enjoying the lush scenery. Your path is distinct, and yet overgrown with soft green moss. The sounds of your hooves are barely audible, and the callings of birds are the only real noises around you. You emerge from the forest, and stand blinking in the bright sunlight. You are on the boundaries of Crystalline Thicket, a domain of the neutrals. You gaze out at the rolling hills, covered in lush grass, the lake, shimmering in the sun, and the forests and groves that dot the hillsides. Below you, in a valley, stand a herd of horses. Some raise their heads and nicker or whinny. A chestnut Arabian separates herself and canters up the hill to stand before you. Her pelt flashing bright copper, she nickers quietly. Her oddly gorgeous golden eyes study you, eyes like an owl. A smile graces her serenely beautiful features, and she speaks, softly. "Welcome, Stranger... To Crystalline Thicket. Whether you stay or go, is up to you." With that, the brillant golden mare canters back down the green hill to rejoin her herd.
