and pray you'll remember who you are -- a child of the King.
God has not forgotten you, and He was not surprised by this.
In times like these, you really do need to seek Him first.

From what you are saying, it appears you were doing lawn maintenance work. There should be no shortage of work in that area at this time of the year! Especially here in southern Johnson County, where it seems that the worth of a person is too much measured by the size of his/her green estate. Personally, I'd like to see it all go back to prairie grass and sunflowers!

So, my practical suggestion to you is to just get out and start looking. You ought to be able to find work, perhaps at a nursery or an established lawn care firm. But you do need to focus on doing that rather than trying to get back at your former employer. Your chances of gaining any satisfaction via that route are two: slim and none. It's better to simply make peace with them and to move on.

I am thankful that in my situation I bear no malice toward anyone at my previous workplace. They let me go because I failed to measure up. By being willing to accept that, I have been able to have peace.

God's best to you, and keep us posted when you find another opportunity.
