I think you are right. Let's try to make it next time Marc has something going. My wife does like to look at motorcycles.

Powell Gardens has a LOT of unrealized potential. We are used to the Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis, which is mature, and LOADED with things to see, nearly any time of the year. Powell Gardens is young (I think it's only a bit over a decade in that location), and vast expanses are uninteresting grass, or natural, uncultivated weeds. But where they have developed the gardens, it is beautiful. The new island garden is obviously new, but give it a year and it will match or exceed anything we saw in St. Louis. That is simply a wonderful location, and right at the focus of all the paths throughout the area.
The buildings at Powell are beautiful. The chapel is out of the way, but breathtaking -- take the walk over there. We hope we're still here 10 years from now to see that place then, it should get better and better every year.

Sounds like us with Pizzeria Uno! In St. Louis, there was one across the river in Illinois, about 10 miles from us that we went to, since that was closer than the Missouri location, which is 25 miles out in the other direction. We went over there one night, to find that it was closed! So, we got back on the Interstate, burned those 35 miles, and ate at the other location! (What really galls us is that they just recently opened one close by our StL home, after we came here!) But KC has one in the Plaza, and Lawrence has one, too, which we discovered last week. You just have not lived until you've had Chicago style pizza!

I'd like it to be a celebration of answered prayer for a job. Stay tuned! But it has to be Uno's in the Plaza.

Yeah, when the money gives out. I have enough for a month without having to cut back.
