This is True. If I don't pay attention & 'rebel' I am in turmoil.

Hadn't thought of that. Either prune them lovingly or let them grow like weeds.

Okay, that can be a part of it. There's only the first 5 years if that, a parent actually has to have the greatest influence in teaching.

I taught my kids that if you give something to God you have Good, and if you take something from the devil you have evil. Imagine what would happen before you take action see it thru. What would be the outcome.

They were around lots of guns as children.....Their Dad & I divorced when they were 5 & 6. He was a gun collector. Whatever he taught them about guns & how I don't know. But I told them that I trusted that they knew about guns, but any friend they knew that came around didn't. It is the friend that was the potential danger, and to never, never touch a gun unless they were with me or their Dad. That's how accidents can happen. Course there was a lot of Media even then, lives lost, children killed.

Today, we still have the Media. What kids at School discuss I can only imagine. But the highlight isn't the accidents, it's the intentional shootings.

Parents need to listen to their children and guide them thru this. If they are left on their own to consider what's happening.....I wonder which School could be next.
