I don't know, either. Children are innocent until they reach the age of accountability when they know right from wrong. That age may differ for each individual, but the general thought is that it's around 7 years old. I'm just glad that WE'RE not responsible for deciding when. Also it's comforting to know that no matter what the age in years might be, a mentally handicapped person is like an innocent child in God's eyes. They are also the ones who give us unconditional love, just like He does. Of course, there are different degrees of mental handicaps so I guess if the person can be taught right from wrong, they are accountable.
What is your opinion on this?
