Yep, read the entire article in last week's magazine.
This risk has been around a while, we should have known long before now that it can happen anywhere. Note that every one of the mass shootings has been in a mostly white school in a suburban or small town setting.
This happens when a generation of children is raised with little moral input from their parents, no moral input whatever from the schools, and a daily dose of gratuitous violence in various forms of entertainment. Don't try to convince me you can let a kid indulge in shoot-em-ups for fun and it won't give him ideas of doing it in real life. Add to that an atmosphere where condoms are passed freely around but Bibles are verboten, and an education system that teaches children they are the products of accidental evolution from monkeys and that there is no God, then no one should be surprised at what is happening.
