When I am refering to "Bible speak" it's to refrain from the hammering a child could get from too many misunderstood meanings. A parent should never say "I'll pray for you" to their own child when going thru a crisis, instead of pulling up their sleeves, digging in to help with the solution.

I'm afraid I've had "lots" of I'll pray for yous in my growing up times.....it had the lovely meaning to me of tuff luck kid I can't help, but God will.

It's like "what a lovely thing to say" I sound Godly to them.....ever thought of what it's like on the recieving end of the "good thoughts" to a child??
