I know I'm new to the guild and this might not exactly be my place to answer such questions, but I have a few thoughts.

I did visit the Malas Pawn Shop once already and found it kind of difficult to shop. Would be nice to have more of and open shop. Being able to get to vendors without having to open doors is always nice. With that in mind, the island would be better due to lack of normal spawn. If you placed vendors in the front of stairs first, then you could even hide from T-Hunter spawn. Also non-AoS players could get to it. I'm not sure if the Merchant Council is functioning yet, so not sure who is going to do all this. Running 1 in Malas and 1 in Trammel would be great, but 2 in Tram on the island would be just as nice. Maybe make sure there are going to be enough vendors to warrent 2 malls. I only about 5-6 in Malas, and about the same at the GH. Depending on how much stock each vendor will be alloted will help decide this. 125 on each vendor would only allow 4-5 vendors per building, depending on max secures. After vendor changes this might be different.

Let me here some thoughts.... I will definitely be interested in running at least one vendor, but everyone should be given a chance to run one before we double up. If a lot of people want to run them, then assigning inventory will need to be taking in to consideration.
