Subject: Houses, do and do not....

I know I'm pretty new around here, not just this guild but the game in general. But as I look around I am getting excited about houses. Because it may be some time before I ever open up my own library I thought maybe asking some questions would help aleviate my pent up desires. First off, not counting Malas because I run LBR what are some good places to buy houses? And what are some bad places? And what about prices? What is too much and too little that I should be wary? Any sort of scams out there? Mainly what I 'm looking for I guess is just whatever bits of info you can offer me. Anything you know about merchants too would help, stuff I might not learn easily from game refrence materials. Alright, I'll be around.
