Hi, I went to my first pageant last year so I know where you are coming from! I went to Barbizon modeling school where they taught me to walk correctly, so here's a few tips I can offer! First of all, keep the shoulders back, it makes you look more confident. Secondly, when turning, put your right foot in front of you, then pivot with the ball of your foot until you are turned around. You can let your hands at your sides or place it on your hip as you do this. The same turn can be used with your left foot if you feel more comfortable. Lastly, smile! Nothing says confident like a big grin! Also, don't be hesitant about any move you make. Even if you mess up, just go right ahead to the next thing and pretend like it never happened. Hesitation makes you come off insecure. Hope I've helped! If you have any more questions, email me at Briansgul10187@aol.com!
