Other: Davis is the leader of the new Digidestined. He now sports Tai's goggles, since his were burnt in a confrontation with a monochromon. He has a crush on Kari, and thus is quite jelous of T.K, and purposely gets the letters in T.K's name messed up (T.J, T.L etc.) He is a real take charge kind of guy, and doesn't like to sit around idly. He is a strong leader, and takes care of the members of his team, although he tends to worry more about the individual rather than the group, which can be a bad thing. His digimon is Veemon. He has the crests of Courage and Friendship, and his DNA digivolving partner is Ken.

She can be over-enthusiastic when she's worried about something, which can result in near disaster, and she can be somewhat pessimistic, but hey, who notices? (me) Her crests are those of Love and Sincerity, and her digimon is Hawkmon. Her DNA digivolving partner is Kari.

Other: Cody is the youngest of the new Digidestined. He lives in the same apartment with Yolei and T.K. He is rather stoic, and acts older than he is, and maybe that's a bad thing. He tends, like Yolei, to get carried away with pessimistic ideas. He does kendo with his Grandpa, and has been taught not to lie, and to be loyal and good yadda yadda yadda. T.K scares him, he doesn't understand him at all. His crests are those of Knowledge and Reliability. His digimon is Armadillomon (Armadimon to some) and his DNA digivolving partner is (ironically) T.K.

Other: T.K is now 4 years older, and has moved to a new building and a new school. He lives in the same building as Yolei and Cody, which is how he met them. He and Kari get along well, and this makes Davis jelous. T.K has become rather tramatized by Angemon's destruction at the hands of Devimon, and thus is really agaisnt the powers of darkness. He is something of an enigma to Cody, who doesn't understand his hatred of the dark forces and fears him for it. His crest is, as always, the crest of Hope, and Patamon is still his digimon. His DNA digivolving partner is Cody.

Other: Kari is also now 4 years older than she was. She is in Davis' class, and has to put up with his crush on her. She is still as cheerful and happy as she was, but now there is something after her, a dark force. She is cowed by it, and seeks to hide from is, as she can't fight it. It's after Ken too, but they refuse to give in, and eventually it leaves them alone. Her digimon is still Gatomon, and her crest is still that of light, which is really the reason the dark forces were after her. Her DNA digivolving partner is Yolei.

Other: Ken has, at the beginning of the series, a duel personality. Well, not really, but a dual identity perhaps. He is both boy genius and star athlete Ken Ichijouji, and the Digimon Kaizer (Emperor). He hides his evil personality when he is Ken. He finally realizes what he is doing is wrong, and stops, then discovers that he's a digidestined. It takes a long time for him to be able to work with the other digidestined, because he cannot forgive himself for his evil deeds as the Digimon Kaizer. His digimon is Wormon (formerly his slave) and his crest is that of (ironically yet again) Kindness. His DNA digivolving partner is Davis.

Other: Tai is now in highschool. He is still the "leader" of the original Digidestined, and when they end up joining all the Digidestined in the world he co-leads them with *shudder*Davis*shudder. He likes Sora, but she doesn't like him. He is still Agumon's partner, and when the little guy gets kidnapped he is horrorfied, and goes after him immediatly.

Other: Matt is still in highschool, but he is also a rockstar. Davis' sister, Jun, gets a major crush on him, following him everywhere when she can. Too bad for her, Matt and Sora are becoming a couple. Matt and Tai are still the best of friends, and when Agumon is kidnapped, he goes with Tai to help get him back. He also is still looking out for T.K, and helps try to explain to Cody about his (T.K's) hatred of the dark forces.

Other: Takato is obviously going to be the leader of the Digi-tamers, the goggles are just a slight give away... He is quite young (5th grade), and is unexperienced in Digimon, either the card game or the real thing. He really cares about his Digimon, Gillmon, who he created.

Other: Rika lives with her Grandmother and her mother, who is a fashion model, her father is unknown. Rika is known as the digimon queen as she is excellent at playing the digimon card game and won the last tournament. When she first receives Renamon, her digimon partner, she only believes digimon are only data and that they were made to fight. Then, after she nearly loses Renamon in a battle with Dokugumon, she starts to realize that digimon are a little more real and that the way to make her partner digivolve isn't just about all the data she can absorb to make her stronger, she must care for her digimon aswell.
But unfortunately even though Rika begins to understand this she still hides her feelings, so she and Renamon fall out both believing that they don't need the other...but they both end up realizing that they do need each other and that they care for each other.
Stubborn and hot headed, Rika seems like a tom girl on the outside, but on the inside she is a confused girl who really does have feelings!

Other: Rika first received Renamon when she returned home after the digimon cardgame tournament she won, a group of digimon appeared in three screens in front of her all of them wanting her to be their tamer, they wanted Rika to make them stronger and to digivolve. Rika then screams that she wants ONE digimon that she can make digivolve...so Renamon steps forward. Renamon is loyal to Rika, no matter how much her tamer snaps at her for not digivolving and how many times she told her that she wouldn't settle for second best...because of this Renamon is often seen thinking in the moonlight. After Rika tells Renamon and the others that she hates digimon Renamon and her tamer part ways for a while and Renamon is talked into going solo by Impmon...but afterwards both her and Rika realize that they need each other and care about each other.

Other: Henry is the most wise and mature member of the tamers, if something seems puzzling he will always think things over deeply and try to figure out the answer, he is also very reluctant to let his Digimon, Terriermon, fight at first, even though the little digimon wanted too, Henry always kept thinking there had to be another way but soon realizes that some times you need to fight to help people. Even though Henry is quite wise he does tend to have a short temper sometimes, especially towards his little sister but it's only because he doesn't want her to get hurt.
Henry is of half Japanese and half Chinese origin.
