I have a soft spot when it comes to POAs. My friend used to own one, and when the mare and I first met, I was greeted by an attempted kick. Of course, I fell in love. After a while, I was greeted by her merely pinning her ears back, which is as close to affection as the pony would go, even with my friend herself.

A few weeks ago, the friend sent the pony back to her grandmother's house, states away, because she outgrew her and her mother was scared to put any of the younger kids on her. On the last day the pony was here, my friend took her out on a lead rope into a field to spend some last time with her. On the spur of the moment, my friend decided it would be sweet to have a last ride on the pony's back. She easily swung onto her back and what happened?

The pony bucked her off. Oh, I love POAs!

The moral of this story is: I'm volunteering to play Star, and I'll even let him be a good pony, and not model his actions after my mare-friend's.
