He arches his neck and seems to bow to her as he trots around her looking for anything that looked thretining. Stopping on her right side he lifts his head high and lets out a shrill winny, warning all stallions that if they came any closer they would be in big trouble. He lowers his head to rest on her back and looks around with alert eyes making sure his mare was safe until she replied to him that she was ready.
