I have been using my Sky set up in Bydgoszcz for 2-3 years now – and it works perfectly. Just use a standard Amstrad 100 box and a quite big 90cm dish and standard LNB.

Of course I was v disappointed when they moved the BBC programmes to Astra2D but might try with a 180cm dish which cost about PLN 700.

For some reason I can still get Radio 4 off Sky which is excellent.

Also, I have an ASDL connection, too, and can stream the 10 o’clock news from the BBC web site, though at poor quality.

BTW – what are you up to in Torun? My wife is from Bydgoszcz and we spend half the year there and half in England.
