It seems that all radios will never be on europewide beam (R5 Live, 5 Live Sports Extra) because there are copyright issues.
I always wonder what can be copyrighted on radio transmission of sports - the sound and atmosphere and screams of the sporting event or to be more serious the real time information about the action or results? And second question there are no restrictions (as far as i know) and you can listen to 5 live and 5 live s. extra via internet. How is it possible???
But we still can email BBC and to try force them to give all possible (not restricted by copyright) radios back.

BBC at Eutelsat were most likely uplinked by NTL and had nothing to do with BBC directly. But I think BBC asked NTL to encrypt the signals. Because there is no other explanation why they were not scrambled from the beginning of feed transmission.
