Certainly not true that you cannot get any English TV! You could easily get all the Sky channels on Astra 2 A/B South Beams if you somehow manage to arrange a Sky subscribtion. You could also get BBC Prime from HotBird satellite by subscribing directly to BBC. And of course the free news channels (BBC World, CNN, DW English broadcasts). Astra 2 A/B North Beam and especially Astra 2D (where all the domestic BBC channels are) needs a really big dish, maybe some 4m. Unfortunately, being on a mountaintop does not help here, except that I would assume there's lots of space for a big dish! ;)
