(PLEASE READ AND REPLY)

PART ONE: One Wild Night

(Robin Scorpio is curled up on the sofa in the penthouse den, dressed in jeans and a large PCU sweater, reading a
romance novel. She gasps as a pair of hands rest upon her shoulders, snapping her back to reality. She tilts her head
up and is shocked to see Jason smiling down at her.)

Robin: (shutting her book) Jason, you scared me!

Jason: (laughs) Yeah.....sorry.

Robin: (laughing) It's not funny!

Jason: (laughing still; walking around to sit next to her) Well, then why are you laughing? (she hits him) Hey!

Robin: (she looks at him) What are you doing here?

Jason: (smiles) Nice to see you, too.

Robin: I'm sorry. It's just - uh, (looks down) lately all II ever see of you is your back as you're walking out the door.

Jason: (looks away) Yeah, I know.

Robin: (looking up at him) I miss you.

Jason: (grabbing her hand; kissing it) I miss you, too.

(He pulls her into his lap, wrapping his arms about her. Her arms go around his neck as he lifts his hand and caresses
her face. She closes her eyes as his hand moves to the back of her head to unclasp her hair clip. He tosses it onto the
table and then returns to run his fingers through her long, soft, shiny strands of dark hair. Once again, she opens her
eyes as her head leans against his palm. She kisses it gently, then takes his hand in both of hers and kisses each
fingertip.....looking into his eyes lovingly. He pulls her as close to him as possible and begins to kiss her passionately,
hungrily. He lays back on the couch, bringing her on top of him. They continue to kiss.......their tongues danced and
soon they were completely breathless. Robin sits up as she feels Jason's hands slip underneath the back of her
sweater. He sits up and helps her pull it off. His lips travel from her back to her neck to her chin and finally her lips.
Just as Jason's shirt hits the floor, the phone begins to ring. They don't stop until a familiar voice streams from the
answering machine.)

Carly: Jason! Jason, are you there? Pick up! What are you doing?!? Jason! Come on, Jase! Michael is crying and he
won't stop unless you come over!

(Robin and Jason look at each other, both gasping for breath. Although she knows Jason wants this, she catches that
look of worry hidden beneath the clouds of passion that were lurking in his eyes. Without a word, she plies herself
from his arms and stands. She rushes out of the room after quickly pulling her sweater back on and up the stairs to
their room - the door slamming behind her. Jason watches her go and slams his fist on the table in frustration. Carly
continues to whine and he finally picks up.)

Jason: I'll be there in a minute, Carly!

(He slams the phone down and puts his shirt on. He reaches the door, but turns back and runs up the stairs. When he
reaches his and Robin's room, he carefully clicks the door open. He stands in the doorway for a moment, looking at
her as she lies on the bed, her back towards him. He swallows the lump in his throat as he takes a step closer to their
bed.)

Robin: (softly) Don't.

Jason: Robin, I -

Robin: Just go, Jason.

Jason: I'm -

Robin: Don't say it, Jason. (sniffles) Just leave me alone. Go.

(A tear falls down her cheek as she can almost feel the pain on his face. He walks out and moments later she hears the
door slam beneath her. And then she cried her heart out.)

@@@@@@@@@@@@@

(A few hours later, Robin makes her way down the stairs, only to find Sonny on the couch. She makes her way around
and plops down next to him. He glances over his paperwork and smiles at her.)

Sonny: Hey!

Robin: (kisses his cheek and leans her head on his shoulder) What's up?

Sonny: Just boring work stuff. (he puts the papers down on the table and kisses her forehead) You okay?

Robin: (gives him her best smile) Of course.

Sonny: Okay, now how 'bout the truth?

Robin: (sighs; sitting up) How do you do that?

Sonny: It's a gift. (pats her hand) Now, come on. What's wrong?

Robin: (stands up) Oh, nothing that a little chocolate and old sappy tear-jerker won't fix. Care to join me?

Sonny: (stands up) Love to. (starts walking into the den with her; putting his arm around her) Then, when you get all
teary-eyed, you can tell me why you're so upset.

(Robin nudges him in the side with her elbow and he laughs.......Half an hour later, Robin and Sonny are in the den,
watching an old romantic classic. Sonny is sitting on the sofa, and Robin is lying on her stomache, in front of the
television. The table is covered with popcorn, soda, kleenex and just about every kind of chocolate candy imaginable.
Sonny chuckles as Robin blows her nose for the hundredth time. Robin throws a handful of popcorn at him.)

Sonny: (shielding himself) Hey!

Robin: I don't believe you!

Sonny: What?

Robin: Oh, forget it. And here I was thinking you were some romantic prince.

Sonny: Me?!?

Robin: Yeah.

Sonny: I don't think so.

Robin: You see that? A typical male response. Unwilling to fess up to his true nature. (he looks at her confused) You
forget that I was friends with two of the women you loved. And women tell everything.

Sonny: Everything?

Robin: (nods; smiling) Everything.

(She sighs and pulls herself up. She walks over to the television and switches it off. She looks over at Sonny, who has
drifted off into his own world.)

Robin: Hey. (he looks up at her dazed; she walks over and sits next to him) You okay?

Sonny: Yeah. Yeah.

Robin: (softly) You were thinking about Brenda, weren't you? (he nods) I'm sorry if -

Sonny: No, Robin, it's fine. I think about her all the time. Yeah, it makes me sad.....but there are just too many great
memories for it to be a bad thing.

Robin: That's just like Stone and me. I've been thinking about him a lot these past few months.

Sonny: You mean, because of what Jason's doing? (she looks at him) We live in the same penthouse, sweetie. Don't look
so surprised.

Robin: Then, why did you ask me what was wrong earlier?

Sonny: Because the look on your face wasn't the same.....it was different......it was worse. (thinking) Did you fight?

Robin: No. (thinking about earlier) No....we didn't fight. (she stands up and starts to clean the mess) I really don't
want to talk about it, though. I don't.

Sonny: (nods) Okay. (he starts to pick stuff up) Here, let me help.

Robin: No - you don't -

Sonny: (taking hold of her hand) It's okay. (seeing the tears well up in her eyes) Come here. (she falls into his arms,
crying) Shh. It's okay, Robin. I promise you. Everything will be better soon.

(She continues to cry. Suddenly, a ringing is heard. Robin steps back and Sonny reaches into his pocket, grabbing his
cellphone.)

Sonny: Yeah? The meeting? It's nine already? Okay. I'll be there in a few. (he shuts his phone) Sweetheart, I'm sorry. I
have to go.

Robin: It's fine. Don't worry about me.

Sonny: You sure?

Robin: (smiles) Yes! Now, go - before you're late.

(He smiles at her, and kisses her cheek.)

Sonny: Okay. You get some rest. I'll be back as soon as I can.

(She nods. Sonny leaves. Robin sighs and finishes picking up the food, then walks up to her room. She steps inside
and goes to sit on her side of the bed. She reaches over and picks up a picture of her and Jason that rested on her
nightstand. It was taken about four months ago.......just before Carly came home and everything began to fall apart.
In this image she saw the man that made every day blissful - perfect beyond her wildest dreams.......the man who had
slowly began to fade away......the man she had caught a glimpse of today. And even though that had made her
somewhat hopeful, it just wasn't enough. She was so sick of all of it. She didn't want to be alone anymore. A tear
begins to trinkle down her cheek, and she angrily wipes it away. Frustrated, she moves quickly off the bed, the picture
slipping out of her trembling hands - crashing to the floor. But she doesn't turn back - instead she paces the room,
trying desperately to make this night different from all the others somehow. Making her way into the bathroom, she
stands in front of the mirror. Her face was flushed and dark smudges rested beneath her eyes from her running
mascara. She looks into the mirror dazed......it was as if she was looking at the feelings she had been carrying with
her for the first time......she couldn't believe what this had done to her......she was tired, broken and scared....and
angry. Then, she knew - Jason had changed......but she had too.)

Robin: (closing her eyes) Oh, God.......

(She sighs. Her hand finds the knob on the sink and turns it on. She splashes the cool water on her face, then shuts it
off. She grabs a towel and begins to rub her face. Upon the sound of knocking, she puts it down and heads to the
bedroom door. She opens it, and there stands one of Sonny's guards - Evan.)

Evan: I'm sorry to disturb you Miss Scorpio, but there's a young woman here that says she knows you......a Miss Lakin?

Robin: Yes, she's a friend of mine.

Evan: Well, if you're busy I can tell her -

Robin: No, no. I'll be down in just a minute.

(He nods, then turns back down the hall. Robin shuts the door, then goes over to her make-up stand. She brushes her
hair, then puts it up in a ponytail. Two minutes later, she is walking down the stairs into the livingroom. On the
couch, her classmate and good friend, Rena Lakin sat waiting. Rena was a bit taller than Robin, had long
strawberry-blonde hair and deep green eyes. They hug briefly, then sit down.)

Robin: So, what brings you here?

Rena: Well, I haven't seen your place before (smiles) - or your guards.

Robin: (rolling her eyes) Ah, yes. I'm sure you were just dying to meet them.

Rena: (laughs) Ok, maybe not. But he's really cute.

Robin: Really? I guess I haven't noticed.

Rena: Please! Are you blind? (Robin shoots her a look) Oh, how could I forget? You've only got eyes for the infamous
Jason Morgan.

Robin: (looks away) Right.

Rena: Hey. What's eating you?

Robin: (forcing a smile) Nothing.

Rena: (looking at her strangely) Whatever you say.

(There is an ackward silence. Suddenly, Robin stands.)

Robin: I'm being so rude. Can I get you something?

Rena: No thanks. I'm can't stay too long.

Robin: Why? You and Kevin have a date tonight?

Rena: No - well, not exactly. (looks at Robin) Are you seriously gonna tell me you don't know about Marcus's party?

Robin: Oh! That's tonight?

Rena: Yeah. (pauses) So, do you and Jason have plans?

Robin: Um......no. (she walks over to the window) Jason will be gone all night.

(Rena gets up and moves to stand next to Robin.)

Rena: Look, Robin.......there's another reason I came by today. (she looks at her curiously) I'm worried about you.....and
so is everyone else. I - uh, don't quite know what's going on with you, but I do know what it's doing to you.

Robin: (crossing her arms over her chest) And what's that?

Rena: Well, these past few months you've been kinda down. I don't mean to pry, but - does this have anything to do with
Jason? (Robin turns back towards the window) I thought so. (grabbing her arm, turning her around) I know whatever
is going on is between the two of you.......but Robin.....I really think that you should talk to him about it. It's eating you up
inside, and it's not right.

Robin: (gently moving her hand away) I can take care of myself, Rena.

Rena: Are you sure about that?

Robin: Yes! (she looks at her) I don't know......I - I used to be able to. I just - I don't know anymore. But I do know that
I don't wanna talk about this. Not now. (pauses) I appreciate your concern, but it's really not necessary.

Rena: Robin, is there anything I can do?

Robin: (thinking) Yes. There is.

Rena: What?

Robin: Help me pick out something to wear. I'm going with you to that party.

Rena: (winks) That's a deal.

(The clock struck ten as Robin Scorpio, Rena Lakin and Kevin Jackson made it through the door of Marcus Wilson's
estate at 42nd Valley Avenue. The music was blaring, and there were people everywhere. After tearing her closet
apart, Robin chose a dark red top that tied around her neck and showed off her toned arms and back, form-fitting
black pants and strappy pumps. Her hair was pulled up in a bun, and thin silver hoops dangled from her ears. Before
she can take another step, someone takes hold of her arm and spins her around.)

Marcus: Robin?!?

Robin: Hey, Marcus.

Marcus: You look really great.

Robin: (blushing) Thank you.

Marcus: I'm glad you could make it. I didn't think you'd come.

Robin: Why's that?

Marcus: Well, there's been plenty of parties this year, and I haven't seen you at one of them.

Robin: I -

Rena: (interrupting her) Robin was in need of a good time. I reminded her of your party, here we are. End of story.

Kevin: (wrapping his arms around Rena) Speaking of good times.......let's start right now. Dance with me.

Rena: (looking at Robin, while being drug away by Kevin) Have fun, okay?

Robin: (nods) You, too.

Desperate for changing
Starving for truth
I'm closer to where I started
Chasing after you

Marcus: (holding out his hand to her) Would you care to dance?

Robin: (smiles) I do love this song...... (looks around; jokingly) But all the good looking guys are all ready taken.......
(Marcus gasps and turns on his heel; Robin bursts into giggles, and graps his arm) Oh, wait a sec. Here's one. (he
looks at her, and she winks at him) I'd love to.

I'm falling even more in love with you
Letting go of all I've held onto
I'm standing here until you make me move
I'm hanging by a moment here with you

Forgetting all I'm lacking
Completely incomplete
I'll take your invitation
You take all of me

(Out on the dance floor, Robin moves in front of Marcus. With each shifting step and move of her hips, a small ounce
of relief ran through her body. For a few moments she was able to let go. She was free. She was alive.)

Now I'm falling even more in love with you
Letting go of all I've held onto
I'm standing here until you make me move
I'm hanging by a moment here with you

I'm living for the only thing I know
I'm running and not quite sure where to go
And I don't know what I'm diving into
Just hanging by a moment here with you

(Suddenly, she feels Marcus's arms go around her waist, and pull her closer to him.)

There's nothing else to lose
There's nothing else to find
There's nothing in the world
That can change my mind
There's nothing else
There's nothing else
There's nothing else

Desperate for changing
Starving for truth
I'm closer to where I started
Chasing after you

(Robin's body tenses up and she pulls away from him.)

I'm falling even more in love with you
Letting go of all I've held onto
I'm standing here until you make me move
I'm hanging by a moment here with you

(She turns around and pushes herself out of the crowd and into the nearest door she can find. She slams it shut, then
sits down on the bed. The door opens, and she looks up.)

I'm living for the only thing I know
I'm running and not quite sure where to go
And I don't know what I'm diving into
Just hanging by a moment here with you

Just hanging by a moment
Hanging by a moment
Hanging by a moment
Hanging by a moment here with you

Robin: Marcus, I'm sorry for doing that. I don't know what got into me.

Marcus: (shutting the door) Don't apologize, Robin. It's okay. (sitting beside her) As long as you're all right.

Robin: (smiling) I'm fine.

Marcus: I guess I went a little overboard, huh? I mean, you have a boyfriend.

Robin: Yeah.

Marcus: He's a lucky guy. (Robin chuckles) Don't worry. I'm not trying to hit on you or anything. I just - I want to see
you happy. And lately you haven't been.

Robin: (standing up) Gosh, I must look pretty bad.

Marcus: What do you mean?

Robin: Well, you're about the tenth person that's told me that in the past twenty-four hours.

Marcus: That just means that a lot of people care about you. That's not such a bad thing is it?

Robin: No. (she takes a deep breath) I'm really trying to get my mind off of it, though. Just for a few hours.

Marcus: (nods) Okay. (smiles) You ready to go back out there?

(Robin smiles and they walk out together. They go into the kitchen, and find Rena and Kevin chatting with another
member of 'the gang' Ashleigh Cooper: tall and blonde, with blue eyes that sparkled when she laughed.)

Marcus: (slipping his arm around Ashleigh) Hey, honey. You're late.

Kevin: Yeah, and so were we. Face it, if there's a woman in company, you're gonna be a little late.

(The guys duck jokingly, when the girls give them the look of death. Rena nudges Kevin in the ribs, and he screams.)

Kevin: Ah!

Rena: Shut up! We look good, don't we? (he leans in to kiss her) Don't go all soft on me, now, Jackson.

Kevin: I didn't mean, it, baby.

Ashleigh: Oh, of course you didn't! I swear, if there's a man left in this world who isn't 97% inner child, please send him to
me so I can give him a medal of recognition.

(The girls laugh. Marcus rolls his eyes and grabs a beer off the table.)

Marcus: I think you need a drink, Cooper.

Kevin: (raising his hand) I second that.

Rena: Don't we all.

(She grabs three beers and passes one to Ashleigh and Robin. Everyone begins to drink, except Robin.)

Ashleigh: What's wrong, Robin?

Robin: (looking down at the beer) Uh, nothing.......I guess it's just been awhile since I've had one of these.

Rena: You've been a good girl long enough, Robin. If anything will make you feel better - that's it.

Robin: (grins) Yeah, you're right. (she takes a sip) Mmm.

Marcus: Good?

Robin: Yeah. I'm feeling better already.

@@@@@@@@@@@@@

(Sonny makes it back to the Penthouse around midnight. He was exhausted and wanted nothing more than to go to
bed and get a good night's sleep. He passes Robin and Jason's bedroom door on the way to his room, and is disturbed
to see the door open. He steps back and leans in the doorway for a moment, immediately noticing the empty bed. He
goes into the room further, expecting Robin to be in the bathroom - but the light was off. A frown forms on his lips as
he remembers seeing Robin's car in the garage on his way up. He checks each room, and finds nothing. He goes over
to his desk in the livingroom, and dials Jason's cellphone number. On the third ring, he picks up, and the sound of a
baby crying can be heard in the background.)

Jason: Morgan.

Sonny: Jason, it's me. Is Robin with you?

Jason: No.

Sonny: Do you know where she is?

Jason: (alarmed) She's not home?

Sonny: No. I thought she might be with you......her car is here.

Jason: What?!?

Sonny: Her car's in the garage. She must have gone out with someone.

Jason: Who?

Sonny: Hell if I know, Jason! She does know a lot of people in this town. She goes to college. Maybe she's out with friends.

Jason: Did you try her phone?

Sonny: She left it here.

Jason: (to Micheal) Shh. It's okay, buddy. (frustrated) Look, Sonny. I can't do this now. I gotta go.

Sonny: Wha - (angry) Go ahead, Jason. Take care of your d@mn business.

Jason: Sonny -

Sonny: Don't let me keep you. (he slams the phone down and sighs) Think. Think. (he rubs his forehead) The guard.
(he flips open his cellphone and dials a number) Yeah. You were working tonight, right? Do you know if Miss Scorpio left
with someone? You what?!? Did I tell you - a who? Miss Lakin? (he shuts the phone; somewhat relieved) She's with a
friend. Relax. (he looks at his watch) It's fifteen past midnight. She should be home soon.

(He walks over to the bar and pours himself a brandy. He takes a seat on the couch and decides to try and get some
paperwork done. Try.....)

@@@@@@@@@@@@@

(The party is over. Robin, Rena, Kevin, Marcus and Ashleigh have been hanging out at a new local club - Sparky's -
for about an hour now. Robin played pool with Rena as partner against Marcus and Kevin for a while - but forced
Ashleigh to take her place when she got a craving for a Strawberry Daquari. She is sitting at the bar, watching them
play - giggling from both their foolishness and the alcohol that was taking over her as each minute passed. She sets
her empty glass down on the bar and hops off her stool as Ashleigh comes walking towards her with her hands on her
hips.)

Ashleigh: Okay, I refuse to do this anymore.

Robin: (giggles) You lost again, huh?

Ashleigh: Yes! That's another fifty bucks gone from shopping expenses. Not good.

(Robin laughs. Marcus walks up to Ashleigh and wraps his arms around her.)

Marcus: Cheer up, baby.

Kevin: (walking up, holding Rena's hand) I got an idea. How 'bout us playing a game that isn't so painful to our wallets?
(looking at Robin) ALL of us.

Robin: What exactly did you have in mind, Kev?

Kevin: Quarters.

@@@@@@@@@@@@@

(Sonny is pacing the livingroom floor. He stops when the door opens. He looks up hopefully, but is dissapointed to see
Jason - not Robin - in the doorway.)

Jason: (looking at Sonny) She's not back, is she?

Sonny: No. (Jason sighs and shuts the door; he takes a seat on sofa) I'm surprised to see you here.

Jason: What is that supposed to mean?

Sonny: Well, let's see....(glances at his watch) It's two twenty-seven......so, Michael should be needing a new bottle right
about now.

Jason: (irritated) What are you trying to say Sonny? That not knowing where Robin is at this hour is comforting to me?
That I don't care?

Sonny: (looking at him) You said it, not me.

Jason: (crossing his arms over his chest) What the hell is your problem?

Sonny: My problem? (he stands up and gets in Jason's face) My problem?!? (coldly) Wake up, Jason. If anyone here
has a problem it's YOU! (he looks him dead in the eye for a moment, then walks over to the bar and pours himself a
drink) I've been watching Robin since I got back. Right off the bat I knew something was wrong with her. I've been trying to
understand what it was......(facing Jason) Now I know. (he takes a drink) You're taking advantage of her.

Jason: That's ridiculous, Sonny.

Sonny: (shaking his head) No, I don't think so. (pauses) I told myself I wasn't going to do this.......that it was between you
and Robin......I don't care anymore. If she won't say something to you, I will.

Jason: Fine. What's going on?

Sonny: I think you know. You're just too damned blind to see it. (steps closer to him) Think back, Jason. Think back to
the last time I was here. Robin - she had this glow about her......she was sso happy.......so in love. Now, it's all gone. She's
hurting. And you're the one that's making her hurt. (angrily) And how dare you, huh? How dare you! Robin came to you
and accepted you - accepted this life. And it's hard Jason. It's so damned hard. I know, I watched Brenda go through it.
(emotionally) You have no idea how lucky you are. It's so sad......it makes me sick.

(Jason looks at him, not knowing what to say. Sonny shakes his head once again, and slams the drink down on the
coffee table. He grabs his jacket off the back of the chair and heads for the door.)

Jason: Where are you going?

Sonny: (walking out the door) Out.

(Jason watches him go, the door slamming hard behind him. He takes a deep breath and sits on the couch, holding his
head in his hands.)

@@@@@@@@@@@@@

(Robin is on the dance floor with Marcus. She is drunk, and the only thing keeping her standing is Marcus's arms
encircling her waist. She giggles as he does some funky move. The song ends, and Rena - half drunk - stumbles over
to them.)

Rena: (grabbing Robin's arm) Robin! Robin! Look! (she points over to the stage; her eyes light up, and she raises her
eyebrows) Kareoke!

Robin: (shaking her head) Nah.......I don't think so.

Rena: (pulling her to the stage) Yes! Yes! Yes! Come on. It'll be fun.

Robin: (sighing) Okay......but you have to help, k?

Rena: (giggles) K.

(They step up on the stage, and Ashleigh comes running up behind them.)

Ashleigh: Wait for me!

Rena: (holding the microphone to her lips) Testing - he, he - testing - one.....two.....he he.....Could we have some music,
please? (Marcus starts the music) Ah.....there we go.

Rena: Come on, gals!

(They all start to sing, stumbling over the words......but fairly accurate. :)

They're pickin' up the prisoners
And puttin' 'em in a pen
And all she wants to do is dance, dance

Rebels been rebels since I don't know when
And all she wants to do is dance

Molotov cocktail-the local drink
And all she wants to do is dance, dance
They mix 'em up right in the kitchen sink
And all she wants to do is dance

(Robin and Rena move to the edge, dancing side by side.)

Crazy people walkin' round with blood in their eyes
And all she wants to do is dance, dance

Wild-eyed pistol waver who ain't afraid to die
And all she wants to do is-
All she wants to do is dance
And make romance

(They turn their back to each other and stoop down.)

She can't feel the heat comin' off the street
She wants to party
She wants to get down
All she wants to do is-
All she wants to do is dance

Well, the government bugged the men's room
In the local disco lounge
And all she wants to do is dance, dance

(Ashleigh dances her way over to them.)

To keep the boys from sellin'
All the weapons they could scrounge
And all she wants to do is dance

But that don't keep the boys from makin' a buck or two
And all she wants to do is dance, dance
They still can sell the army all the drugs that they can do
And all she wants to do is-
All she wants to do is dance
And make romance

(She squishes her way in-between them, causing Robin to stumble. She begins to fall, but is saved when a pair of arms
go around her. They stumble to the ground.)

Well, we barely made the airport for the last plane out
As we taxied down the runway
I could hear the people shout
They said, "Don't come back here Yankee!"
But if I ever do-
I'll bring more money
'Cause all she wants to do is dance
And make romance

(The guy makes a small painful groan. Robin begins to raise herself off of him.)

Robin: (giggling) Whoops a daisy!

Man: (turning her face to him; his eyes widen) Robin?!?

Robin: (looking at him) Nikolas.

Never mind the heat comin' off the street
She wants to party
She wants to get down
All she wants to do is-
All she wants to do is dance
And make romance
All she wants to do is dance

**Song Credits: "Hanging By a Moment", Lifehouse; "All She Wants to Do Is Dance", Don Henley**
