Subject: CH 18 Journey to Africa PLEASE READ AND REPLY

Jason sat in the back of the car in silence. All he could think about was the sight of Robin covered in blood. He said a silent prayer that Robin would be ok.

The car pulled into the hospital parking lot and Jason ran inside and came up to Sean who rode with Anna.

Jason: Anything new?

Sean: Anna noly had a flesh wound. She was treated but because the doctors want her to stay overnight.

Jason: What about Robin?

Sean: Their is nothing on her or Robert. They were rushed into the OR. It will be a while before we learn anything new. I tried to call Mac but he is out of town on Business.

Jason grabs Sean and pins him to the wall.

Jason: ROBIN TRUSTED YOU. AND NOW SHE COULD DIE BECAUSE OF THIS DA** GAME YOU AND HER PARENTS PLAY.

Sean: I tried my best to keep her safe.

Jason: IT WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH. SHE HAS 2 BULLETS In HER CHEST AND ANOTHER ONE IN HER STOMACH.

Sean: It fell apart. Robert and I did everything to keep Robin safe.

Jason: You failed.

Sean: Come with me. You and Anna need to hear what happened.

Sean and Jason head up to Anna's room. As they walk in they notice a Doctor by Anna's bed.

The Doctor turns to face them.

Anna: ITs all right. I want them to hear this.

Doctor: All right. The surgery on Mr. Scorpio is over. The Neck wasn't as serious as we thought it was.

The bullet went in and out and caused no damage. It missed all the important places which was very lucky.

The arm wound isnt serious. It went in and out as well.

The leg wound wasn't as lucky. There was damage to the nerves. HE will need therapy before he walks again. But with worl he will make a full revovery.

Anna: And my daughter?

Doctor: She is in surgery. All three wounds are very serious. It will take a very long time before they finsh the surgery on her.

Jason: How is she doing?

Doctor: As of the last report I had she is still alive which is a mircle. I can't tell you anymore. I'm sorry.

The Doctor leaves. Anna turns to Sean.

Anna: WHAT THE HE11 HAPPENED? ROBIN COULD BE DYING AND I HAVE NO REASON WHY?

Sean looked down in complete guilt.

Sean: RObert and I didn't want his to happen. I am here to tell you the truth of what happened on that ship.

Jason: What happened?

Sean explains to Anna and Jason the truth about what happened that night onthe ship.
