Subject: NEED TRAINING WHEELS FOR BOY'S BIKE

Hi Everyone!
I know it's been A LONG while but I've got a good excuse. The knee I blew out in February isn't getting better very fast and I'm supposed to keep it up which is impossible at my computer....
Anyway the reason for this post is my 10 year old son. Last summer we agreed to let him learn how to ride a bike. Problem is he has a great fear of falling over when the bike wobbles and jumps off. Which on a dirt road is like every 3 inches(8 cm for you metric types, lol) Now he's refusing to even go outside when the siblings are bike riding unless we get him training wheels for his bike. He had 3 pair last summer from Canadian Tire and mangled them.
I think he needs a VERY, VERY, VERY STURDY, all terrain set and he's grown which probably means a new bike too. Which is fine, his birthday's in July but his Timberwolf unit is doing bikes & road safety during May and he is embarrassed that he can't even sit on his bike without falling. I don't know how to deal with the teasing he'll get from the others about having training wheels when they all abandoned them at ages 3 & 4 but that's a side issue.
Can anyone help point me toward the "supports" my son needs?
