Subject: My Big News

I know I promised to tell all at the June meeting and then pulled a no-show. The suspence must be killing some of you. Truth is a had a Guiding thing from 8 til 9 that I couldn't miss-but did, Fell asleep packing boxes, lol!

Did I say PACKING? Yes! I did.
Anyone who knows me for the past 8 years knows that we have had an ongoing house hunt happening. I went off blissfully to the May Getaway Weekend and came home to find out Hubby had indeed bought our first house.

It ain't pretty and it ain't in the kids school zone but it has a acre of land, a double garage, 2 toilets and 3 bedrooms and it's ours June 22,2007. We have applied to return to Harris Heights for another year but really that's just for our seventh grader so she can graduate from grade 8 at the school she's attended from SK. East Oxford is the school zone we entered so our 5th grader and SK will go there unless some miracle occurs. Apparently we crossed the line by 3 houses. I really hate to break the kids up and send them all to different schools. Our family is not well off in skills, resources or money; all we have is each other. Our family is our strenghth, we could depend on each other til now.

Matthew is to attend a PDD Class at Hill Crest in Woodstock-stone throw from Huron Park Secondary and DM Sutherland. I never wanted this segregation for my son but was driven into it by his "caring and concerned" staff who refuse to communicate with me or hear what I tell them or follow any suggestions I made and left him to fend for himself in the name of independance.

gotta go pack some more
Dawn
