Remember, SB was a soap. Triangles happen on soaps. It didn't ruin those couples. They remained favorites. As for JFP, I liked a lot of work she did on SB, she sort of kept it together after the Dobsons left. Lets not forget that JFP was the one who decided to have C&E and M&J finally marry. I know many disliked John Conboy as well (something I've never been able to understand). JC did what most producers don't do: he didn't create a whole bunch of new characters; instead he brought back Robert Barr, the Lockridges and tried to bring back Justin Deas as Keith. His decisions were based on what was right for the show. The same pretty much goes for JFP. The only SB producer I was sick of was Paul Rauch...ugh! Pam "B.J. Walker" Long was the worst, too.
