Hi I am LAKEN from Canada. I live near Toronto. Laken is also a welsh word that means "keen" as in "are you keen to play soccer?". It is also a short form for a "LADYKIN" and in India LAKEN means "BUT" like a contradiction. I just love my name. I am so glad that alot of people have never heard of the name before. I like to think that makes me special. My mother heard the name on Santa Barbara and remembered it . I would like to hear from other Lakens my e-mail is lalaken@myway.com
