VOLUNTEERS AND INTERN OPPORTUNITIES
This is an unpaid internship opportunity. Minimum 3-month term, 5
hours/week (15 hours preferred). Flexible hours available.
College/university students or graduates with interest, knowledge,
and/or experience in any of the following: editing, proofing, transcribing, layout and book design, and promoting for radio shows guest. Interns should have computer literacy
skills and be willing to help with basic office tasks as needed.
(Experience with MS Word, QuickBooks, and desktop publishing a
plus.) Excellent communications skills. Ability to work independently
and meet deadlines. Tolu2Books offers an informal, nonsmoking work environment
in a northeast neighborhood in Washington, DC. The
