Venice apartments - Cŕ Jolanda is a vacation apartment in Venice, Italy offering holiday accommodation for four. On the Lido, just 10 minutes from St Mark's Square, this holiday flat is an affordable base in Venice.

At the southern end of the Lagoon, The Lido is the largest of Venice's islands. This provides a marvellous alternative to staying in the main part of the city.

The Lido has an eight-mile expanse of beach. This, at the turn of the 19th century, made it Europe's premier resort and an essential stopping point on the Grand Tour. Its atmosphere was captured in the movie version of Thomas Mann's poignant novel, Death in Venice. Today, distinguished tree-lined streets are lined with good restaurants, lively cafés and plenty of shops. And yet this seaside resort is just minutes from the heart of the city, with regular vaporetti and motor launches transferring you to the mediaeval core of Venice in less time than it takes to sip a cappuccino.

Holiday flats in Venice can be prohibitively expensive, but Ca'Jolanda ranges from just €100 to €150 per day. Please check with the owners as there may be slight variations at busy periods, such as Christmas, during the Cinema Festival and the height of summer. Prices are inclusive of water and power and use of bed linen. During the winter months there will be a charge for heating. This 1930s Venetian holiday apartment is furnished in style and equipped with every comfort, including TV and a fully equipped kitchen.
