George Brough, the creator of the iconic Brough Superior � widely regarded as the world�s first superbike � is being honoured with two blue plaques being put up at houses where he lived in Nottingham.

The Brough Superior SS100 motorcycle was built between 1924 and 1940 at George Brough�s factory and each machine was certified to reach 100mph.

The Sheriff of Nottingham will unveil the two plaques, at Mandelay Sreeet, Basford and Arnold Road.
