An American company has designed a helmet-mounted set of lights.

The WHL-80 has an eight-LED display that shows the rider braking plus turning indicators, plus a wireless transmitter connected to the bike’s wiring that triggers when the rider uses the bike’s existing controls.

It recharges through a USB cable and can be used with one or two helmets so works for riding solo or with a pillion.

The WHL-80 Helmet Safety Light retails in the USA for USD 100.
