Date Posted: 04:51:02 08/12/14 Tue Search Giant, Google, is planning to extend it’s plans for ‘autonomous driving’ to motorcycles. According to the Sunday Times, Google is lobbying the Californian legislature for permission to test self-driving bikes in Silicon Valley. At present, State Law bans the testing of such vehicles. Ron Medford, Google’s Director of Safety for the self-driving car programme said "If some innovator can demonstrate that testing autonomous technology on such vehicles is safe, then they should be allowed to test."
