Greek tourist, Nikos Louridas and his girlfriend thought their biking holiday in Ireland was to end in disaster when their motorcycle was stolen from Cork and dumped in the river.

When the people of Cork heard what happened, offers came in from people all over the county, including the biking community who offered to loan Nikos a bike so that the couple could continue their holiday.

So well done to the people of Cork for their generous nature.

If anyone has any information on the theft and dumping, please contact Cork Gardai.
