Subject: 5,000 Bikers join run on behalf of Essex Air Ambulance

Five thousand bikers attended the annual Motorcycle Run to raise funds for the Essex Air Ambulance service. The 60 mile run sponsored by Jack Lilley Triumph in Romford went from Harwich Quay to Ford Dunton Technical Centre in Laindon.

A further 2,000 people attended a Family Festival was also held, featuring a display from the Imps motorcycle display team, plus bands and other performers on stage and could see an Essex Air Ambulance and Essex Police helicopter.

An auction was also held, featuring items signed by MotoGP riders and items signed by WSBK Champion Tom Sykes.
