FEMA asked member organizations in Europe to take part in a mobility test. 15 cities in eight countries took part, with motorcycle, moped, car, public transport and bicycle if possible starting at the same time and place in a suburb and headed for a goal inside the city.

Motorcycles and mopeds made the journeys faster in every city with the biggest differences between motorcycle and car being 38 minutes to travel 29 kilometres in Oslo and 48 minutes to travel 19 kilometres in Dublin.

Marseille saw a cyclist complete the journey faster than any other vehicle.
