Transport for London (TfL) has proposed an “Ultra Low Emission Zone”, to take effect from September 2020 as part of their objective to at least halve emissions.

Motorcycles and similar vehicles up to and including 13 years old (so 2007 onwards) would not have to pay a charge. But older motorcycles and scooters that did not comply with the new standards would face a daily charge of £12.50.
