Subject: OOC: Eh, none taken, RT^^ I normally like doing one-on-one stuff, but... Yeah, I was thinking the same. RPing with someone you havn't done anything with can be difficult at times. And... my main problem with D&D-esque things is having to use dice. It's supposed to be Role-playing, not Roll-playing.
In reply to: River tail 's message, "OOC:Hey I didn't mean you in particular, I just meant in general it was starting to get hard with someone you never have done anything with before(No offense Xan)I've been wanting to learn to play d&d to, a guy at work invited me to one of his guilds, but no license means no sneaky out(Parents think its all occult despite the research I've done about it proving I wont commit suicide).I want to do a larp sometime too." on 11:31:27 08/05/02 Mon

  • OOC:Huh, thats true, although, Im also bad at dice rolls so thats probably why I agree.Because of the whole occult/parents issue I have started making a christian one,you also only roll twice per turn tops, and I got some guys to get into, we just need d20's. • There is a Christian RP game. I found it in the back of my dad's closet. It's called Dragonraid. I don't remember anything about it at the moment, but I think it would be something to look in to, if you could find it. (It's very old, probably out of print) And I, for one, like the dice-rolling. It isn't like a perpetual activity, and it allows a certain amount of randomness, and also forces the PCs to come up with some creative plans when the dice come up snake-eyes... (NT) -- Endy OOC, who likes role-playing and wishes he could teach people over the net, but is afraid it's a bit too complex, 17:22:59 09/03/02 Tue
