Xan gazed at the otter, smiling slightly, though it was more of a cold, distasteful baring of teeth than an expression of good humor.

"Aye, if you have time. Which you wouldn't have if you're already dead." She smirked, shifting her hold on the spoon to grip the flat part, brandishing the handle. "This is sharp enough... with enough force, stabbed through the eye, it'd be enough. Or up through the nose, to the brain. Or shove it down through your mouth, rip the throat open from the inside, even if you wouldn't die as quickly."

The fox grinned darkly, finding sadistic pleasure in the violent rambles. "With enough force behind it, I could stab you through the heart, or puncture a lung. I could rip your stomache open, eviscerate you and leave you to die slowly.

"But then, if we're talking about speed..." Xan stooped, pulling her other dagger from the top of her boot, holding it up for him to see. "I can use this to do all of those same things, as well as be able to stab you from behind, in the neck. Sever the spinal cord at the third vertibrate--" she made a ripping motion with the blade, "--and death is instantaneous."

All this the assassin said with the same, darkly amused smirk on her face, staring at him coldly, amber eyes flat but for the malevolent mirth flashing in their depths. "Granted, a person could die by merely cutting a finger off. But... we wouldn't want to sit and wait for that to take effect, now, would we?"
