-the girl walks onto the beach in the cool night air. she dips her feet in the water and then goes back to shore for a while. she sits in the sand and burys her hands and feet. she sighs, lonely. she looks up and whistles softly. A german shepherd comes onto the beach and runs to her, then sits in the sand by her side. he puts his head on one of her legs and looks up at her- Good boy, Nick. -she praises the dog and strokes his soft head-
