�As brown eyes scan over the pale form of the woman in the bed, another lump forms in his throat..it had been an emotional day. Standing over Courtney, still holding onto Nina's small hand in his own, he attempts a reassuring smile, though it fails miserably. The last thing he felt like doing was smiling. His worry had exhausted him, his injuries were taking their toll, and his kicking himself for not having been there sooner made him nausious.� "Don't worry about me, Courtney...you need your rest. How do you feel?" �His voice was strained, and towards the end it broke with his struggle to hold back the emotion burning the back of his eyes. He looks down at Nina, rubbing her head softly.�
