-she smiles at nina as the child begins to slip off.... the contractions had stoped for the moment and the painkillers where starting to kick in..... but soon the baby's vitals are all screwed up, heart rate is down... blood presure is low... most everything else is elivated abnormaly... but nothing about this child would end up being normal-
