Problem was, however, that her body was too badly damaged and too weak to sustain that very thing she clung to. So while her body began its journey of either recovery or demise, Briallan's mind took flight into the shadows of her own conciousness. There she could be happy. There she could be with those who she had given a piece of herself to and not have to fight. It had always been fight figh fight. She couldn't take that anymore. not mentally and not emotionally. Here she was safe. Who knows how long it would be until she regained conciousness*
