陶先生的意見雖稍為徧激，但有很多卻一針見血！

我一直有追看陶先生在報紙上的専欄。發現陶先生所不滿的乃是近代中國人的普遍毛病，而且還是大大的毛病！你說他崇洋，但細想一下，若西方文化中有其長處，我們又何苦僅守過時守舊之傳統陋習？取人之長，補己之短，崇洋又如何？當然，我並不是說中國人沒有好的傳統，相反，我覺得中國文化中有不少更是西方人應向我們學習的。然而，在全球一體化的影響下，故步自封，才是自取滅亡之道。

總的來說，對於陶先生個人性格崇洋與否，我覺得沒有甚麼不妥。相反，他肯大膽承認自身文化中之不足處，卻是難能可貴。正如他批評毛澤東一文，的確，試想想毛主席當年對中國文化有何貢獻？他對整個中國帶來甚麼進步？他封閉了中國，和清朝時有甚麼分別？他提倡批鬥，癲倒倫理，使中國文化有了一個幾十年的大斷層，又有甚麼值得中國人驕傲？但現在卻仍有不少中國人崇拜毛澤東，認為他所作的是進步文明，中國人的驕傲！這不是比盲目崇洋崇日更可笑嗎？

同學們，當一切涉及權力政治時，就只有利字為先。當你們明白了這一點，很多相關問題便會迎刄而解了！
