當時，有位師兄話: "(老)師唔理咪當係一時放過lor "
我都同意呢個講法，據另外數名消息人士透露，今日伍仁杰同學晌香港音樂及朗誦協會舉辦的校際朗誦節Present緊份news時，又晌SMS的聲音。

早前伍同學已於中文即席演講比賽中取得冠軍，身為英文學會的會長，今次的勝出率高達90%，但因電話的響聲長達1分鐘，間接影響了臨場表現，最後結果強差人意。

學校亦因此少了一個獎，更被人當作笑柄。

現在作出一個檢討，究竟老師於當時沒有就電話響的問題見伍同學，是否間接令佢今日又重犯錯誤，令學校少左個獎？究竟師兄所講"一時放過"又是否洽當？而伍同學又是否要熟讀手機的說明書呢？今日亦係考試日，伍同學帶電話又是否有問題？而比賽等場合又是否要關機？

無人想既.大家反而應該鼓勵番佢.記住大家都係濟記仔.同屬兄弟.唔好因而傷感情.講真,這些所謂的獎項只屬虛名,三兩個星期後就無人記得.但若因而損害了同學間的有誼.則正如公仔佬所講:講出過既野,發生過既爭執,是冇可能當粉筆字擦拭大家就可以完全冇野.
記著,同學間的友誼是一世的.而所謂的獎項只屬過眼雲煙.最重要是賽前認真的準備過程.
