Firefly turns to Karee only to find her limp body on the ground. she squeals with fright but doesn't run away. her mind moving at a million miles a second.
"Karee don't die you'd make our mummy so sad. she was really upset when you didn't show up, but she descided you must have been with your own mummy. she told me all about you and i couldn't wait to meet you,
(tears began steaming down her perectly preportioned features.)
and...and have a big sister to look after me please don't leave. please stay awake. i don't want you to go we where going to play, and you where going to protect me and be my best friend. we where going to grow old together and have our foals be best friends just like us please don't go."
Firefly started sobing uncontrolibly her fear and sadness threatening to take over. she knelt down beside Karee nuzzling and licking her wounds ignoring the foul taste of blood drenching her mouth and turning her soft little black chin a scary shade of crimsen.
