Hello, Witch Hunter! I'll do my best to address your questions...
>Have you ever physically witnessed a 'Daemon' as you
>prefer to call them?
Physical, as in with my physical eyes, correct? The answer is yes, but not very often. I would say maybe a total of five times in my lifetime.
>Would a better terminology for
>the energies that can be sensed around us be spirits
>or simply entities?
Any and all are proper terms for what I'm speaking of. I use the term daemon for the same reason others would use the term God...it was what I was taught by my mentor, therefore I became comfortable with the term. I make it a point to distinquish my use of the term, however on the page. In honesty, words, no matter what word can convey many ideas beyond the definition of the word itself. This is why I explained the way in which I use it.

Interesting comment. Do I have animosity towards those who see the world as black and white? (I believe this is what you are asking) No, I allow them to see the world as they choose. If it is simpler, easier, and more inlined with their beliefs to see it that way, so be it. I feel that as individuals, we have all been given individual ways to handle and understand the universe. I do not expect anyone else to understand it the way I do, we all have different perceptions and needs.
We may look at the same thing, but you will see it differently than I...does that mean you are wrong? No, it means that you are right for you in your subjective perspective, and that I too and correct in my subjective perspective. I honestly do not understand why so many feel the need to be "right" and prove someone else "wrong". Seems a waste of time when we could honestly learn something from their view that could add to our own, and help us to see the bigger picture of what the thing really is.

Perhaps. I am not saying that my beliefs have not sprung from others...also I point out that many belief systems have very similar, if not the same ideologies within them as well. Does that mean that one is more right than another? I don't believe so myself. I think we all strive for a belief system that works with us, our psyche, our society, our families, and all other external forces that shape what we do and don't believe from a young age.
>I am not attacking or insulting your beliefs because
>my knowledge on the topic is not as strong as it
>should be.
Lack of knowledge or not, I did not take your questions as attacks. Merely a plea to understand the workings of my mind. I don't mind trying to explain this.
>I am also interested in
>where the origins of your name Shatav come from.
>Although sounding like it orginates from the mystical

>you?
It chose me, honestly. And why, I still don't understand. It came to me during my Wiccan dedication ceremony...was told it would be my spiritual name. Later when working with the Kemetic Orthodoxy, I was told it was an Americanized version of the anglicised words Sha'Tef...which means "His Knife" in Egyptian. Again, I don't know why this name, what it means or anything. Just that it came to me and told me it was mine.
Well, hope that answers some of your questions. Please, feel free to ask more if you like. I really enjoy speaking with those who ask the hard questions. It makes me thinks, makes me reevaluate, and in the end, defines more of what I believe. Thank you!
