Daemonology is an oral tradition, passed down from mentor to student. I'm actually the first to put any of it out there for others to see.

So, how does one find a mentor, you ask? Not easily. I have only met six others in the tradition since I have been following it myself. And it is definitely not a path to learn by yourself. There are aspects that can be dangrous, when dealing with malicious entities for example, that you need a mentor with the experience of dealing with the situations to help you out with. Not everything we deal with is nice, unfortunately. As a daemonologist you draw attention from non-corporeals of all forms, both good and bad...and part of the training is knowing how to deal with the negative ones as well as learning from the positive ones.
