I was very sad to hear that my good old friend Danny Heyman passed away November 2002. He shall be missed by all his old buddies (Mark,Mike & Larry). See you again someday. Keep playing that guitar.

I lived on e.86st between seaview and n,we moved out in 1973 and I havent been back since.soon I will take I95 north to go see the old place,and maybe look up some old freinds that I understand are still there.I will probably be very saddened by what I will see,which only serves to verify why we moved out.So I will brush up on the nigglish language if I want to communicate with the locals.See yo latuh ahsa gotta b wacthinza chilluns.

Lived in Bayview Project till 1975. Lived in Brooklyn till 2002. Went to PS 272, JHS 211, grad. CHS in 1971. I was probably the shortest one in the class.

Anyone interested in attending a double Canarsie HS/South Shore HS reunion?
The idea is to make it a jumbo reunion for the ultra good-looking and cool classes of 1982 - 1986, as we all have extremely busy lives. (Inclusion of 1981 & up to 1988 is also an option).
Plus, our neighborhood didn't promote the best school spirit, so this way we can guarantee at least 200 - 300 people attending.
Tables can be set up according to HS & graduating year.
Those who didn't graduate CHS or SSHS for whatever reason(but who would have in those years) are also invited.

If the response rate is decent, I'll seriously start planning this for a Saturday night, either in January, 2005, or July, 2005.
This way, some of you have some time to lose 20 pounds,
work out, get lipo and hair transplants:-)
This reunion concept depends on the feedback I get.

We'll have it somewhere nice, either in NYC (either a hotel ballroom like the Hilton, Marriott or Sheraton, or a cool lounge-type place like Metronome).

OBITUARY........Rocky Goldstein -- A friend, 16:59:23 04/03/01 Tue (NoHost/152.163.206.199)
With sadness I post this terrible news.
Rocky (Ronald) Goldstein, formerly of Flatlands 2nd Street, passed away in the pre-dawn hours of 3/28/01, from a heart condition he never knew he had.
He was 37 years old, and is survived by a wife, two very little chilfren, 2 sisters, and his parents.

He shall be missed!

Has anyone heard from Heidi Goldberg of E. 101st & Seaview or Howard Stopnitsky of E. 88th & Seaview lately? Heidi & I were good friends in Canarsie H.S. class of '77 and she was studying to be a doctor. Howie is a distant cousin of mine whom I lost contact with.
