Smiley potato massacre with Grandfather Raygun is what comes to mind here. Hey, that'd be a good movie plot.

One very large spider, almost the size of two tarantulas put together. I called the University today and the biology professor said, "Cool. Catch it and we'll take a look at it." Not much help there in how to trap it.

Ick about your bike, but nice friend you have!

I don't mind spiders as much as I mind anything resembling a caterpillar or centipede. The way they move creeps me out.
