Subject: Early but starting lineup thoughts?

Hey guys I know its kinda early thinking about the starting lineup for the bball team since we havent seen the incoming freshman but what are your thoughts.

I am thinking this
Tristan
Javier
Obie
Ingo
and maybe a newcomer

Hopefully Ingo can have a good year this year he showed some good stuff in some games and I think his confidence will be boosted this year. Give him a couple starts and i believe he will be ready to go this year

Does anyone know the date of MBBs first game? My guess will be 11/24 - Mohegan Sun Classic.

there is no MS Classic this year, the sponsorship by MS was not renewed for this year. First games will be at Michigan on 11/10-12. First home game is Nov. 25 vs. the Bonnies.

No Sun Classic??? What about the Umass game?

My guess for the line up is:

PG Danni Powell
2G Tristan Blackwood
F Javier Mojica
PF Obie Nwadike
C Jemino Sober

I am NOT saying this should be the line up, but I think this is what Howie will go with...by mid season the stand outs from our recruiting class will be in the lineup.

Well...the UMASS game at Mohegan Sun was never considered a tournament, rather it was merely a home game for CCSU at a large venue. It is unfortunate that CCSU won't be in any tournament this year, at least non that I know of.

I am still fuming over the UCONN tournament deal...I know...I should get over it.

Oh...if we do get Chazz...count on him to start!

season opens at Michigan at the John Thompson Classic...three games in three days against Michigan, Eastern Michigan and Davidson...

WOW!!! Mich, E.Mich & Davidson..that is an equal or tougher field than the one we dropped out of!!! Final schedule should be our soon...right?

Not a bad tourney at all.

Michigan - a very quality Big Ten team with major talent. Missed the NCAAs last season, but reached the NIT finals and loss to South Carolina. A win here for CCSU would be the bigest upset in our history. Personally, I'm just looking for a good showing.

Eastern Mich - They were bad. They play in a decent conference, but were just 7-20 last year. Only good win was their first game at home vs. California. This is a game we must win!

Davidson - A very good, small school. Went to the NCAAs last season and had wins vs. UMass, St. Joes, and Mizzou. Also, close losses to Charlotte and 'Cuse. A good test of our teams chances vs. top mid-majors.

0-3 = major dissapointment
1-2 = meets expectations, much still unknown
2-1 = very good showing, season has lots of promise
3-0 = getting votes in the AP/Coaches polls
