If you guys don't know, Sam was a 6'10" center back in the days of Mark Adams. He was a great H.S. player but under Adams, he did not do well at all. I am sure he would have been a star under Howie.

Sam died last year of stomach and brain cancer at the age of 37. He left a wife and two kids.

Just goes to show ya...you have to grab every day.
