Yeah...and...low and behold, it was even covered by the UCONN Courant. Scott Grey even mentioned that UCONN lost to them two days ago.

Can someone bring this to the table, as (even more) proof CCSU athletics should use a little more of the share that the state throws to the Evil Empire?

The CCSU men's socccer team was ranked as high as #24 a back in 2004, before losing at Delaware.

This year UConn was #2 in the NSCAA preseason poll, but dropped after the loss to LMU, which moved the Lions up from 'receiving votes' to #14. CCSU now plays at Siena and vs. St. Peter's before the next poll. Wonder if the Blue Devils will be ranked then (with 2 wins)?

I can't complain much about Courant coverage. Yes, its a lot less than the Huskies (especially when comparing football and basketball), but overall they do an OK job. We get much more press than UHa, Yale, or any other state team. I'd like more coverage too, but ...

I'm more concerned that the CCSU men's soccer team doesn't play UConn!!! The women do, so why don't the men?

UConn has scheduled Yale, Hartford, and Fairfield many, many times in the past. They even played SHU and QU once each! Why have they avoided the Blue Devils?

'cause when CCSU men's soccer beats UConn, UConn looks BAD!
and, nobody would want that to happen, would they?
it's a state conflict as well.
